Does getting older mean getting wiser? Or are there always lessons to learn, no matter how many candles are on the birthday cake? This month, join us for a night of stories all about growing up and the things we figure out along the way. Whether our performers feel like they grew up at sixteen or sixty, each storyteller in our intergenerational line-up brings a unique perspective on aging and growth. Come ready to laugh, to feel, to be inspired by the way we’re able to keep evolving, at any age.
Our performer line-up:
20s Grace Alvaras
Meet Grace, a dedicated musician hailing from Sydney. Currently in the pursuit of becoming a music therapist, she seamlessly blends her love for music with a deep commitment to mental well-being. Grace’s journey is a harmonious fusion of artistry and compassion, seeking to make a positive impact through the therapeutic power of music.
30s Eva Marinas
Eva Georgina Marie is a clinical psychologist, comedian, dancer and PhD candidate. It’s a strange combination of skills but also very handy. If she can’t help you find solutions to your problems, she will help you feel better about all the wrong decisions you’ve made because she has most probably made worse ones. And if that fails, she can cheer you up by helping you shake your booty.
40s Bonita Nutall
Bonita Nutall is a dynamic speaker and coach, passionate about self-leadership, strategic communication, storytelling and transformative change. Drawing from neuroscience, psychology and her background in journalism and TV presenting, she empowers individuals and teams to “Turn up the you,” fostering self-awareness, confidence and high performance.
50s Jane Tara
Jane Tara has published over a hundred books, including her latest novel, Tilda is Visible. She’s a daily meditator, a sucker for a rescue mutt and a front-row cheerleader for her two sons. She spent thirteen years overseas but, for now, is happily at home in Sydney.
60s Anna-Carin McNamara
Anna-Carin McNamara is founder of ANNA.CARIN home design, blending Scandinavian influences and natural materials with contemporary design. Originally from Sweden, she holds a Master's from the Royal College of Art and is author of Make a Home to Love, focusing on joy, order, and beauty in homemaking.
70s Christine Greenough
Christine Greenough is an Actor/Director/Producer with over 40 years experience in theatre, film and TV. She has studied at Maggie Haber studios and with Howard Fine in LA and Australia.
