You never know who needs to hear your story.
Empowering storytelling nights across Australia for women of all ages.
SYDNEY: Wednesday 27 May at The Beresford, Surry Hills
MELBOURNE: Wednesday 27 May at Howler, Brunswick
BATHURST: Friday 19 June at KeyStone 1889, Bathurst
Six storytellers.
Six generations.
A great night out โ with meaning.
Generation Womenยฎ is a live storytelling series that brings people together across generations. At each show, six storytellers โ aged from their 20s to 70s+ โ share an original story on a shared theme. Itโs funny, moving and often exactly what you didnโt know you needed.
What makes it special is the mix of ages and lived experience. Hearing from women at different stages of life creates perspective, connection and a powerful sense that youโre not alone.
Proudly women-led, warmly inclusive, welcoming all women (cis and trans), non-binary people comfortable in womenโs spaces and audiences of all genders.

Theme: โNevertheless, She Persisted: Stories of resistance, resilience and revolutionโ
Ever had one of those moments where quitting wouldโve been easier? We all have. But sometimes the power is in getting back up, saying it out loud or laughing in the face of โnoโ. This show is about those moments. Six women, six decades, each sharing a story of persistence that will make you laugh, nod along and maybe even tear up.
Bathurst: 19 June 2026
Theme: โMatriarchs, Mentors & Aunties: Stories to celebrate the elder women in our livesโ
Every generation has women who light the path. This night is about them. Six women, six decades, sharing stories of the grandmothers, mentors and icons who showed us whatโs possible. Itโs not just nostalgia โ itโs wisdom, grit and love passed forward. If youโve ever looked up to an older woman and thought, Because of her, I can, this show is for you.

Founderโs Message
Making space for womenโs stories across Australia
As the founder of Generation Women Australia, my personal mission is simple: to remind people, especially women, that their stories matter and that none of us are alone.
Generation Women brings women of different generations together through storytelling thatโs funny, moving and real. Itโs a place to listen, connect and gain perspective, whether youโre on stage, in the audience or watching from afar.
By making space for womenโs voices and lived experience, we build understanding, empathy and connection that reaches far beyond the room and helps make the world a better place for everyone.
