You never know who needs to hear your story.
Empowering storytelling nights across Australia for women of all ages.
KIAMA: Tuesday 17 February at Fillmore’s Kiama
SYDNEY: Wednesday 25 February at The Beresford, Surry Hills
MELBOURNE: Wednesday 25 February at Howler, Brunswick
Six storytellers.
Six generations.
A great night out - with meaning
Generation Women® is a live storytelling series that brings people together across generations. At each show, six storytellers — aged from their 20s to 70s+ — share an original story on a shared theme. It’s funny, moving and often exactly what you didn’t know you needed.
What makes it special is the mix of ages and lived experience. Hearing from women at different stages of life creates perspective, connection and a powerful sense that you’re not alone.
Proudly women-led, warmly inclusive, welcoming all women (cis and trans), non-binary people comfortable in women’s spaces and audiences of all genders.
Next shows
Syd & Mel: 25 Feb 2026.
Kiama: 17 Feb 2026
Theme: ‘Matriarchs, Mentors and Aunties: Stories that Celebrate the Elder Women in our Lives’
Every generation has women who light the path. This night is about them. Six women, six decades, sharing stories of the grandmothers, mentors and icons who showed us what’s possible. It’s not just nostalgia, it’s wisdom, grit and love passed forward. When we honour the women who paved the way, we see more clearly how to walk our own.

Founder’s Message
Making space for women’s stories across Australia
As the founder of Generation Women Australia, my personal mission is simple: to remind people, especially women, that their stories matter and that none of us are alone.
Generation Women brings women of different generations together through storytelling that’s funny, moving and real. It’s a place to listen, connect and gain perspective, whether you’re on stage, in the audience or watching from afar.
By making space for women’s voices and lived experience, we build understanding, empathy and connection that reaches far beyond the room and helps make the world a better place for everyone.
