Generation Women® creates space for intergenerational connection and community.
Winner of Best Spoken Word at Sydney Fringe 2019 and featured in All About Women 2020 at the Sydney Opera House, Generation Women celebrates and amplifies female and non-binary voices. At our monthly live shows, six storytellers of note — one in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s+ — share an original piece on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry and reflect. Generation Women is an intimate literary salon that brings together people of all ages.

Every Generation Women night delivers unforgettable moments. For our final show of the year, we’re bringing back six storytellers whose words truly stopped the show, sparking laughter, tears and goosebumps long after the night ended. This is a celebration of the stories that defined our year and the ones our community couldn’t stop sharing.
WOLLONGONG Theme: ‘Stronger Together’
Behind every story of strength, there’s often someone who helped us find it, a friend, a mentor, or even a stranger. These stories explore the people and connections that lift us up, and the surprising ways they shape who we become. This November, Generation Women Australia: On the Road comes to Wollongong with a powerful line-up of six local Illawarra women stepping on stage to share stories of strength, connection, and courage.
